About BarKiRi

BarKiRi compares what pharmacies across Korea charge for over-the-counter medicines, supplements and health products, so you can see the real price before you walk in.

Where the prices come from

Every price on BarKiRi comes from a real pharmacy receipt submitted by a customer, or is reported by the pharmacy itself. That means prices reflect what people actually paid — but a pharmacy may have changed its price since the last report.

English and Korean, side by side

Where we have a translation, product names, pharmacy names and addresses are shown in English with the Korean original kept alongside — the Korean is what you show a pharmacist, a taxi driver or a map app. Drug information from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety is translated only after a person has reviewed it, and the Korean original is always one click away and remains the authoritative version. Anything not yet translated stays in Korean.
