If a person who regularly drinks 3 or more glasses of alcohol every day takes this medicine or other antipyretic analgesics, consult a doctor or pharmacist. It may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension, congestive heart failure, established ischemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, or cerebrovascular disease should use ibuprofen after careful consideration and avoid use of high-dose ibuprofen (2,400 mg a day). Also, if a patient with cardiovascular risk factors (e.g., hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, smoking) requires high-dose ibuprofen (2,400 mg a day), carefully consider before starting long-term treatment. Clinical study results have shown that use of high-dose (2,400 mg a day) ibuprofen may slightly increase the risk of arterial thrombotic events (myocardial infarction or stroke).

Patients with hypersensitivity to this medicine, those who have experienced asthma when taking other antipyretic analgesics or cold medicines, and infants under 3 months should not take this medicine. Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if the patient is an infant or child under 15 years who is infected with or suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, has an allergic constitution, has experienced allergic symptoms (e.g., fever, rash, joint pain, asthma, itching, etc.), has liver, kidney, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, is physically weak or has a high fever, is elderly, is pregnant or may be pregnant, is breastfeeding, has persistent or recurrent gastrointestinal problems such as heartburn, upper abdominal discomfort, or stomach pain, or has ulcer or bleeding problems, has lost a lot of fluid due to vomiting and diarrhea or does not absorb fluids, or is a child under 2 years.
