Do not use this drug in patients under 18 years old, pregnant women or women who may be pregnant and breastfeeding women, patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or a history of it, patients with cardiovascular disease (coronary artery (heart artery) disease, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, heart valve disease, treated or untreated hypertension, or hypotension), patients without hereditary factors for hair loss, patients with sudden partial hair loss, patients with scalp abnormalities such as scalp erythema (red spots), inflammation, infection, irritation or pain, psoriasis (dry scale disease), or sunburn, patients with hair loss of unknown cause, patients using other scalp medications, patients with a shaved scalp, patients with poor tolerability (tolerance to the drug) to 2%, or patients with hair loss related to childbirth. Before using this drug, elderly persons (55 years and older), patients with edema (swelling), or patients with thyroid dysfunction (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism) should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Use of this drug may cause a temporary increase in hair loss at the beginning. If this continues for more than 2 weeks, or if there is no effect after 6 months in women or after 4 months in men, stop use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

If itching, scales (scales, flakes), erythema (red spots)/redness (redness due to congestion), dermatitis, dry skin, hypertrichosis (excessive hair growth) outside the area where this drug was applied (facial hair growth in women), folliculitis, local irritation including burning sensation (hot sensation) and rash (skin rash), peeling, hair loss, skin abscess (pus pocket), acne, nail disorder (fingernail or toenail disease), seborrhea, eczema, hair abnormality, occasional diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, occasional chest pain, hypotension, pulse changes, palpitations (pounding heartbeat), increased heart rate, pericardial effusion, pericarditis, embolism (blood vessel blockage), tachycardia (fast pulse), worsening of pre-existing angina or induction of angina in patients with undiagnosed coronary artery (heart artery) disease, bronchitis, upper respiratory tract infection, sinusitis, dyspnea, occasional shortness of breath, occasional fracture, back pain, tendinitis (tendon inflammation), pain, neuritis (polyneuritis (multiple neuritis, polyneuritis), etc.), weakness, occasional dizziness, headache, grogginess, syncope, occasional depression, occasional hepatitis, occasional edema (swelling) of the hands and feet, kidney stones, salt and fluid retention (fluid accumulation), occasional fever, hives, allergic rhinitis, systemic erythema (red spots) and facial edema, chills, allergic contact dermatitis, occasional eye irritation, bitter taste, otitis (ear inflammation) (especially otitis externa), taste changes, visual impairment, erectile dysfunction, stabbing pain, sudden unexplained weight gain, etc. occur, stop use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
