If a person who regularly drinks 3 or more glasses of alcohol every day takes this medicine or another antipyretic analgesic, consult a doctor or pharmacist. It may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. Taking this medicine increases the risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, which may be fatal, and serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, and perforation may occur.

Do not take this medicine if you have hypersensitivity to this medicine, peptic ulcer, severe blood abnormalities, severe hepatic impairment, severe cardiac insufficiency, severe renal impairment, severe hypertension, or hypersensitivity to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics such as aspirin; if you have asthma, rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria, allergic reactions, or a history thereof caused by aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics (including COX-2 inhibitors); for treatment of pain occurring before or after coronary artery bypass graft surgery; if you have genetic problems such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption; if you are pregnant or may be pregnant or are breastfeeding; or if the patient is an infant 2 years old or younger. Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you may be pregnant, are a child, have a history of peptic ulcer, have a history of blood abnormalities, have a tendency to bleed, have hepatic impairment or a history thereof, have renal impairment or a history thereof, have reduced renal blood flow, cardiac dysfunction, hypertension, bronchial asthma, systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease, or are elderly.

If shock symptoms (difficulty breathing, decreased blood pressure, slow pulse, cold sweat, swelling), PIE syndrome (pulmonary infiltration with eosinophilia: accompanied by fever, wheezing, cough, and sputum), urticaria, occasional hypersensitivity symptoms such as rash and itching, vomiting blood, gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcer, perforation, agranulocytosis, eosinophilia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia, decreased platelet function (prolonged bleeding time), aseptic meningitis (severe headache, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, stiff neck, fever, or impaired consciousness, etc.), eczema, sweating, purpura, photosensitivity, hair loss, redness, necrolysis, erythema multiforme, oculomucocutaneous syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), urticaria, epidermolysis bullosa, drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms, fixed drug eruption, toxic epidermal necrolysis, etc. occur rarely, stop taking this medicine immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Stomach discomfort, stomach pain, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, stomatitis may occur occasionally; abdominal bloating, black stools, dry mouth, elevation of GOT and GPT levels, jaundice, hepatitis, renal impairment, nephritis, hematuria, hyperkalemia, interstitial nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, renal papillary necrosis, protein in the urine, renal failure may occur rarely; drowsiness and cognitive dysfunction may occur occasionally; and dizziness, headache, numbness in the hands and feet, decreased potency, fatigue, depression, abnormal dreams, loss of ability to concentrate, disorientation, insomnia, muscle pain, muscle weakness, tinnitus, hearing impairment, visual impairment, swelling, difficulty breathing, palpitations, myasthenia, congestive heart failure, eosinophilic pneumonia, anaphylactoid reaction, menstrual disorder, chills (feeling cold and shivering) and fever, vasculitis, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, etc. may occur rarely.
