This medicine is used as adjunctive treatment for wounds, burns, lacerations (such as nipple fissures (cracking) during lactation), pressure sores, acute and chronic dermatitis, eczema, skin ulcers, diaper rash, and sunburn (solar dermatitis).

After cleaning the wound, apply this medicine to the affected area 1 to several times a day. For nipple fissures during lactation, apply to the nipple immediately after each breastfeeding.

Patients with hypersensitivity to this medicine or with infectious or exudative skin disease should not use this medicine. Avoid contact with the eyes. If this medicine has been applied to treat cracked nipples during breastfeeding, wipe it off before breastfeeding.
